    Responsibilities

    • Perform picking and packing of components (cooling assemblies, hardware bags, cabin electronic assemblies, harnesses, high voltage cable, brackets, etc.) to create XL’s kits.
    • Perform pre-assembly as required for kitting activities, including pre-assembly of cooling assemblies, hardware bags, cabin electronics assemblies.
    • Perform hardware (control modules, inverter, etc.) software/firmware flashing.
    • Create, improve, or learn new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) documentation of outbound shipments of XL’s kits, including Pick Lists, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, etc.
    • Utilize XL’s inventory management system and scanner/bar codes to track all picking/packing/kitting activities, as well as outbound picked/packed components.
    • Perform shipping/freight quoting and scheduling for any outbound XL Hybrids’ kits and components departing from XL facilities. Enter PRO #’s and tracking #’s into XL’s ERP system.
    • Perform the following tasks/functions in XLerator and/or XL ERP system:

    Enter all component serial numbers (motors, packs, inverters, CHCM’s, etc.).

    Be able to capture and track motor serial numbers outbound from XL Hybrids.

    • Document all assembly/production activities through the use of XL’s ERP system:

    Use tablet to receive, implement, and finish Work Orders (WOs) to track accountability.

    • Maintain and grow XL’s relationships with all freight carriers.
    • Seek ways to continuously improve XL Hybrids’ picking, packing, kitting, shipping operations.
    • Provide direct line for technicians (both XL employees and our partners’) in the field as needed for components to ensure timely completion of conversions.
    • Assist in Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
    • Uphold existing quality control measures by spot checking assemblies prior to shipping.
    • Learn installation process when possible during conversions/upfits to better understand product for future troubleshooting.
    • Assist in stockroom organization, and bar-coding of components and component shelves.
    • Other duties as needed and identified by Production Coordinator.

    Requirements

    • Basic understanding of Google Docs and Microsoft Excel
    • 2 years minimum experience of warehouse/production work
    • Ability to work independently to carry out job assignments
    • Genuine interest in Green Technology
    • Valid driver’s license
    • High School diploma or GED

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
    • Interest in the hybrid automotive industry
