    We are in search of a motivated Sales & Marketing Specialist to add to our sales and marketing team that will:

    • Support the acquisition and management of inbound sales leads
    • Execute all aspects of the lead management process
    • Support the team’s efforts in acquiring new business
    • Create downstream lists and analytics for the marketing team
    • Gain significant experience in all aspects of the go-to-market process in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Reporting to the directors of the sales and marketing teams
    • Enter new sales and marketing leads into Salesforce
    • Manage the distribution of leads to the appropriate regional sales manager
    • Conduct research on inbound leads as needed to fill in gaps in data and/or determine appropriate routing
    • Pull lists and reports from Salesforce and other third-party services to support ongoing marketing campaigns.

     

    Added Responsibilities

     

    • Support the sales team in developing quotes and responding to RFPs
    • Lead the documentation efforts needed to help customers take advantage of grants and vouchers
    • Support marketing team event planning efforts as needed
    • Provide strategic input on the lead flow process to make sure it is continually optimized and improving
    • Support the entry of customer orders and supporting documents into Salesforce
    • Periodically update existing customer records in Salesforce to support successful outreach efforts

    Qualifications

    • 3-7 years of inside sales and/or marketing experience
    • Strong familiarity with Salesforce.com, including experience entering and uploading leads, managing records, pulling campaign lists and analyzing available data 
    • Excellent teamwork skills, work ethic and interpersonal communications ability
    • Actively seeks out new challenges and responsibilities, and enjoys making a difference in a fast-paced and growing company
    • Experience supporting new client acquisition efforts, including preparing quotes and documentation associated with the sales process
    • Experience with MS Office programs
    • Ability to work out of the company headquarters in Boston, MA.

    Added Qualifications

    • Highly qualified candidates will have experience owning the entire process of entering, qualifying and advancing leads through the system, and analyzing results
    • Certified Salesforce Administrator status is a huge plus for this role
    • Experience in customer-facing roles (within a sales or marketing context) is desirable, but not required
    • Experience working in automotive or technology industries, as well as startup environments, is a plus
